The Brazilian Butt Lift surgery has become immensely popular in the field of plastic surgery over the last ten years. Until recently, plastic surgeons did not have a great option for women and men who sought a more curvaceous, hourglass figure.
Many people who come to us for this procedure have spent years trying to “build up” their gluteal muscles and “grow” the look of their behind only to discover that their extended hours in the gym left them with a result that was too subtle.
In actual fact, some individuals found that the more time they spent exercising, the smaller their curves became. That’s because they were burning fat, and the body doesn’t discriminate when it comes to fat loss (or fat gain, for that matter!).
Plastic Surgery Tijuana is the home of Dr. Rafael Camberos, one of the best Brazilian Butt Lift surgeons in Mexico. If you’ve ever wanted to achieve a curvy, well-proportioned silhouette, BBL might be the right option for you.
The Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery (BBL) is a buttock augmentation procedure that uses unwanted fat from other parts of the body to lift and add volume to the buttocks.
What is a Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery?
Brazilian Butt Lift is a buttock augmentation procedure that uses unwanted fat from other parts of the body to lift and add volume to the buttocks.
What makes this surgery so popular and effective is the added benefit of liposuction. Fat is removed from areas like the abdomen, thighs, flanks, and lower back, then carefully prepared to be used to remodel the buttocks.
Dr. Camberos then meticulously injects the fat into strategic areas to create volume in the backside and achieve results perfectly tailored to your goals and desires.
This process gives Dr. Camberos a high level of control in accomplishing your desired shape. The outcome is a fuller behind with a slimmer tummy and thighs, emphasizing and accentuating a beautiful hourglass figure.
Brazilian Butt Lift has become much sought-after in recent years for a number of reasons. Only minimal incisions are required to perform both the liposuction and injections, which leads to little to no scarring. Very small incisions also lead to a faster, easier, and more comfortable healing process.
Many patients love it because it offers a perfectly natural solution, rearranging what already exists in the body into a more pleasing proportional result.
Candidates for BBL
The best candidates for Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery are individuals who are at or near their goal weight.
This is not a weight loss procedure, so it is best if you reach, or get near to your weight loss goal prior to undergoing this procedure.
It is important to note that in order to get the best result possible, you will need small pockets of fat in other areas of the body.
To determine your candidacy for this treatment, it is best to start an online consultation with our board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Rafael Camberos.
Preparing for BBL Surgery
Dr. Camberos will provide all the instructions you need to get ready for your brazilian butt lift surgery. If you have any health conditions, or take any medication we may provide specific instructions for how to manage that prior to surgery.
Dr. Camberos may ask you to stop taking certain medications and supplements for a period of time before your procedure.
If you are a smoker, you will be required to stop smoking two weeks prior to your surgery and for a period time during recovery as well. Smoking has a direct and negative affect on the healing process and can cause serious complications.
Your procedure will be performed at our state-of-the-art facility, which meets and exceeds national, state and municipal health care facility standards.
Recovery After BBL
Dr. Camberos will recommend that you take a week off after your Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. In this time, it’s important to limit your activities to staying home, watching TV, and reading books.
If you have young children, you should plan for additional childcare support during your healing period as chasing after little ones can impede your body’s natural healing.
Driving during this time is not recommended. We know that our patients lead busy lives, and we understand that it can be difficult to stop normal activity completely, but this period of rest and relaxation can actually speed up healing and will help achieve the best results possible after your surgery.
For most BBL patients, we ask that you do not sit on your bum, or lie flat on your back for 2 weeks after your surgery.
